Recipe of Unakka Chemmeen thoran by Preetha

For that just dry fry unakka chemmen in a pan..just to make it crisp….now remove its head and wash 3-4 time thoroughly in water.

Once it is clean……..cook it with some water ,salt and a little turmeric powder.

To another pan… coconut oilil kaduku pottikukaa…..add curry leaves…….sliced small onions,green chilly and a little tomotto(optional) sauté it well.

Grind coconut+ chilly powder+ perum jeerakam + ginger+ garlic …not to fine paste….

Once the onion and all are done add the coconut mix and sauté it well…

Once the dry prawns are cooked well just mix the coconut onion cooked masala to it and stir well….

Unakka chemmen thoran ready !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
